2x McLeod’s / Far Away / IPA / Waipu, Northland / 6%
Far Away showcases a blend of Australian Eclipse and US Idaho 7 hops, offering prominent notes of clementine and lemon peel. This Northland beer is anchored by a soft biscuit malt base and a satisfyingly balanced bitterness. A classic IPA from one of the best breweries around.
2x Black Sands / Go West, My Friend / WCIPA / Auckland / 6.5%
A straightforward celebration of hops and an homage to those simpler times when all IPAs were West coast. It delivers an unapologetic hop-forward profile, laden with citrus and pine, resulting in a crisp and solid bitterness that purists are gonna love.
2x Garage Project / Party & Bullshit / NEIPA / Wellington / 6.2%
Of course you’ve tried this beer before - it was one of the very first New England style IPAs commercially released in NZ and has been a favourite ever since. The beauty of this box is that each beer was canned in the past few days so this is at it’s absolute peak and likely far better that one that’s sat in a supermarket store room for a few months at ambient. This beer is all about the silky, creamy body supporting the mélange of mango, peach, and subtle citrus zest in a juicy, fruit-laden haze.
2x Lakeman / 5 O’Clock Somewhere / NEIPA / Taupo / 6%
A NEIPA designed for kicking back at the end of the day. It’s a tropical escape in a glass, featuring a blend of juicy hops that burst with notes of citrus and stone fruits, paired with a lush, hazy body. Sit back and think of Taupo.
2x BEERS / It’s Our Year! / NEIPA / 6%
The WAHS uplifting optimism and mana inspired this Hazy IPA from Christchurch’s nano brewery BEERS. Bursting with a symphony of citrus and tropical notes and supported by a big body, it pairs well with celebrating victory.
