This huge and viscous dark beer features a robust base of 1000kg of New Zealand malts bringing an array of complex dark malt characters. As this decadent and indulgent beer warms in your glass it reveals elegant and integrated flavours of roast, dark chocolate, dark fruit, burnt toffee, caramel, toasted rye bread, brown sugar and porridge. This is reinforced by a smooth and warming boozy finish and top notes of bramble and blackberry jam from a judicious addition of British hops.
1x Pukwudgie / California Double IPA - 7.8% 440ml Can
Pukwudgie is Californian Double IPA. A base of Pilsner, Wheat and Gladiator Malts provides a clean and snappy backdrop for the hops to shine. We then dosed up the hot side with mash, boil and dry hop additions of Strata and Cryo El Dorado for a rounded bitterness. In the dry hop we doubled down with El Dorado, Cryo Strata and a Motueka Hop Kief to provide a zesty pop of citrus and stonefruit. The result is a punchy and assertive double IPA loaded with fruit character, a beautiful body rich with hop oils and a dry finish that keeps you coming back for more.
1x Hexenhaus / Roggenbier - 5.4% 440ml Can
This traditional German style ale is brewed with a base of Vienna malt supported by 3 different varieties of Rye to provide a rich and complex malt profile featuring flavours of dark brown bread, light toffee and black pepper. This is supported by Hallertau Tradition hops to provide a grassy hop character and supporting bitterness. The result is a smooth and drinkable rye ale which abounds with chewy malt character and subtle spice.
1x Living With Intent To Survive / Brett Pilsner - 6% 440ml Can
This variant of our NZ Pilsner, What Can The Harvest Hope For?, spent 5 months in stainless with Brettanomyces Clausenii. Dry and funky with a spritzy carbonation and flavours of dank, overripe pineapple and lime.

A complex base of 7 malts including Vienna, Oats, Wheat, Rye and Roasted Malts fermented with a Belgian yeast strain to add beautifully integrated notes of dark fruit and spice. This was then hopped with Strata to add bright and zesty top notes of strawberry, bubblegum, grapefruit and sage. The result is a sessionable and interesting dark beer which evolves in the glass revealing myriad complexities.
