Sheree’s favourite facet of autumn was the feijoas. Her family’s few
trees produced an annual bounty of the fragrant fruit whose flavour
transformed myriad different meals over a few delicious weeks, marking
the seasonal turn as clearly as the falling foliage. This pale,
perfumed, and refreshingly sour beer puts the versatile little things to
yet another use and highlights their distinct ‘pineapple guava’
character.
