Pouring hazy orange with big tropical hop aromas, the palate dances with vanilla, clove and underlying subtle funk. Drinks silky smooth with assertive bitterness and soft, caramel malt holding up the hops. Unique, hoppy and ‘bonnie’, it will develop in the bottle for years to come.
Mcleod’s | Farmhouse Sour 6.6% - Bronze Medal
This is the first of McLeod's barrel aged series. This is a blend of just five barrels. A Belgian inspired Farmhouse saison, aged in retired Sauvignon Blanc French barriques. They inoculated it with B. Lambicus and L. Brevis and aged for over a year. A soft earthy complexity with bright acidity. Slainte!
