Small Gods are a brewery dedicated to interesting and innovative beers. This mixed case includes some of their most recent beers!

Taking traditional styles and injecting a modern twist. Small Gods is a project dedicated to fun, collaborative, historical and experimental brewing aiming to keep history alive by bringing these beers and legends into the modern age.

1x Chuchuna - Cold IPA - 6%
The newest in the monster IPA series is another super lean super hoppy beast single hopped with an exceptional batch of Nelson Sauvin. The base is all Pilsner malt and it was cold conditioned for an extended period for clarity of flavour with a razor sharp finish. Nelson is a true superstar hop, this batch sees biotransformed hop expression of juicy tropical fruit, and stone fruit notes as well the expected white wine character.

1x Hoofman - NZ WCIPA - 7.2%
Hoofman is an NZIPA with a classic West Coast spin. Small Gods are renowned for their monstrous series of West Coast IPAs and this is one of the most highly reviewed so far. A smooth and subtle malt base with a touch of toffee supports a resinous and oily dank hop presence. Southern Cross provides a rounded, firm bitterness while Motueka and Riwaka bring a massive dose of bright lime zest, orange and pineapple. The clean and bright flavour profile snaps to a crisp and moreish finish.

2x Morgana - Table Stout - 3%
This smooth and balanced Table Stout was brewed with a rich and balanced malt base enhanced with a handful of rye. It was mashed hot and thick for a viscous and luscious mouthfeel and the speciality malts present a layered and warming flavour profile of dark toffee, chocolate biscuits and a touch of roast.

2x Throwing Hands - Seefbier - 5.2%
Seefbier was once the beer of Antwerp until lagers and pilsners rendered it extinct. It is a cloudy golden blonde beer with big body and a unique silky mouthfeel from the inclusion of buckwheat alongside a little spice character from the rye malt and Hallertau Mittelfruh hops. We believe this is only the second Seefbeir to be brewed commercially in centuries and the first ever brewed outside Antwerp.

2x Love in Idleness - Botanical Lager - 4.3%
A lean and light lager base infused with a combination of flowers from friends at Noble & Sunday to add a floral and aromatic perfume complexity. Layers of the the most premium Jasmine, Chamomile and Hibiscus unfold across the palate to create a delicate and delicious botanical quality leading into a refreshing and spritzy finish.

1x Tristan - Lime Leaf Table Beer - 3.8% 440ml
Tristan is a crisp and light table beer, incorporating lime leaves, Sorachi Ace, and Elani hops for a delightfully summery and floral flavour profile. Hand picked, new season lime leaves from Matt's garden infuse a zesty citrus note that perfectly complements the unique lemon, coconut and dill characteristics of Sorachi Ace hops. Elani hops add a subtle layer of citrus peel, enhancing the beer's refreshing profile. As always with this Table Beer series, it’s delicate yet full flavoured at a very sessional abv.

1x Āmraprema - Salted Mango Lassi Sour - 3.6% 440ml
Inspired by delicious salted mango lassi this unique beer pours with a viscous, glowing orange hue. At 180g per litre of mango, there’s well over half a mango in each can putting the spotlight firmly on the fruit's vibrant, tropical flavour. A pinch of salt balances the mango's natural sweetness, adding depth to the beer's profile and echoing the complexity of a traditional lassi. The juicy body and low ABV make it a rich, smooth and refreshing easy drinker.

1x Fafnir's Hoard - NZ Hopfenweisse - 5.8% 440ml
A New Zealand twist to the traditional hop-forward profile of a Hopfenweisse. Heavily dosed with local Pacifica, Rakau, and Motueka hops, it has big NZ hop character delivering notes of apricot, peach, and lime zest. The Hefeweizen yeast gives it a rich traditional German profile with lovely pear drop and banana esters. This bouquet of fruit flavours shines against a fluffy backdrop of wheat malt. The malt provides a subtle sweetness that balances the beer's smooth and crisp bitterness.

1x Rejoice!- Raspberry & Cherry Imperial Stout - 9% 440ml
This bold stout presents a rich collage of indulgent flavours. A deep, complex malt base lays the groundwork for a delicious journey through sweetness and warmth. The cherry and raspberry notes contribute a bright fruitiness that cuts through the stout's chocolate notes. Expect a full-bodied experience with a smooth, velvety mouthfeel that makes each sip a luxurious affair. The 9% ABV is well integrated, providing a gentle heat that reminds you of its strength without overshadowing the harmonious marriage of fruit and malt.

    Small Gods mixed case

If you after something different and inspiring this is the box for you. As a few noted the table beer is unreal. The two farmhouse ales are stellar and who doesn't love a few imperial stouts. So good just ordered another. A truely inspiring brewery. Thanks Beer Jerk for being the outlet of this fantastic brewery

    Worship is a funny thing.

Yes. Treat yourself, cool can art aside there's enough variety and quality that you can sit back and enjoy a brew (or two) without getting sick of the flavor.

    Quality and variety

One of the best beer cases I have ordered. Not only was the quality top notch but the variety of styles was excellent.
